Appointments

Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are over 15 minutes late, we may be unable to complete your service fully, otherwise it will affect the next client’s appointment. We will ask you to re-arrange and you may be charged.

Customer Service

We aim to provide the highest standards of creative and technical hairdressing and beauty treatments within a professional and relaxing environment. Whatever your feedback, we would love to hear it. We are an independent, local business and we always try our best. If you feel that we have not met our own high standards, please speak to us and allow us to rectify the matter.

Gift Cards & Online Gift Vouchers

Our gift cards (purchased in the salon) and online gift vouchers (purchased via our website or app) may be used in full or part payment for any hair or beauty service and product available in the salon. Gift cards and vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. At the expiry of the validity period, gift cards and vouchers cannot be used for purchase nor can the unused remaining value be refunded.

Allergy Responsible Protocol

Tops Hair Salon & Beauty follows an Allergy Responsible Protocol for the safety and peace of mind of our clients. We use testing and screening to check suitability for the products and services we provide. More information can be found on our Allergy Testing page or on our Allergy Testing Protocol document.

Deposits

For appointments booked in person, over the phone, online or via the app, you will be charged a 25% deposit. This deposit will be used as part payment towards your service and is fully refundable should you cancel/reschedule up to 48 hours before your appointment. If you fail to show up for your appointment, you will be charged in accordance with our Cancellation & No Show Policy.

Cancellation & No Show Policy

We appreciate that sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment but we kindly request that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice otherwise you will be charged as follows:
First Appointment: Your 25% deposit
Second Appointment: Your 25% deposit plus an additional 25%
Third Appointment: Your 50% deposit plus an additional 50%
